About Us

I am forever grateful that my Dad allowed me to be by his side when he passed away in 2016. With hearing being one of the last senses to go, I was so thankful to be able to fill his final moments with loving words. As he surrendered to his last breath, I can hold onto knowing he wasn’t alone and his passing was peaceful. The lifting, lightness, peace and calm that overwhelmed the room was aw inspiring and changed the path and purpose of my life.

I have learned that there is a great need for compassion, companionship, advocacy and support for seniors. From my own personal experience and values, I have found my passion and purpose in senior care. It is the respecting of older generations, a desire to make a meaningful impact and to enhance the quality of life for older adults through companionship, emotional support and personalized care.

Being a companion to a senior not only enhances the well-being of the senior, but also provides a fulfilling experience for me.

My career background has been working in the corporate environment as a legal assistant. It has served me well and will be valuable in my service to senior clients.

I have completed the End of Life Doula Course, Faculty of Health Sciences, at Douglas College and Dementia Courses through the world-leading Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre, University of Tasmania and Alzheimer Calgary.
